DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION

EPOXY REGULAR is a two-component thixotropic epoxy adhesive, ideal for permanently bonding marble, granite, natural stone, ceramic, and other substrates such as concrete and terracotta. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

⚠️ Do not use for visible grouting, especially outdoors.

COMPOSITION

• Part A: thixotropic epoxy resin with fillers and pigments

• Part B: mixture of curing agents containing adducts of cycloaliphatic amines, polyamides, and tertiary amines, thixotropically thickened with fillers and pigments

MIXING RATIO

• Part A : Part B = 100 : 100 (example: 1 kg of Part A + 1 kg of Part B)

MIXING

• Mix thoroughly in the specified ratios until completely homogeneous

AVAILABLE PACKAGING

• A+B sets: 250 ml, 1 L, 2 L; A+B sets: 10 kg and 20 kg. 

• Available colors: white, black, gray, beige, and others on request

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Surfaces must be:

  • porous

  • dry

  • clean

  • free of foreign substances

• On very glossy materials, lightly roughening the surface is recommended

PRELIMINARY TEST

• Always carry out a test to check compatibility and adhesion under the specific conditions of use

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Apply with a trowel or by spreading

• Do not apply at temperatures below +10°C

• Recommended temperature: +10°C / +30°C

• Recommended thickness: 0,3 – 1,0 mm

• Approximate coverage: 250–700 g/m²

CURING

• Curing speed increases with temperature

• Minimum temperature: 8°C

• Curing time: 6–12 hours (depending on ambient conditions)

• Fully cured after 24 hours

• Working time: 30–35 minutes

STABILITY AND STORAGE

• Do not store at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C

WARNING

• Prolonged exposure to UV rays may alter the original color

• Product intended for bonding, not for visible grouting

• Shrinkage coefficient: 0,3%

NOTES

• Epoxy mastics provide excellent adhesion even on slightly damp substrates

• Low shrinkage (0,1–0,5%) reduces internal stresses, improving bond stability

• Once cured, they are resistant to frost and water

• Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause the resin to yellow

• Thanks to its adhesive flexibility, it can bond dissimilar materials such as:

  • concrete

  • wood

  • plastics

  • natural and artificial stone

• Weight loss (7 days at 100°C): 0,3%

• Water absorption: 0,04%
