EPOXY CER 90

Epoxy adhesive for structural bonding

Range: Technical adhesives for structural bonding

DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION

EPOXY CER 90 is a thixotropic, two-component epoxy adhesive in a cartridge, designed for permanent bonding of stone and multi-surface materials. Suitable for marble, granite, natural and synthetic stone, porcelain stoneware, ceramic, concrete, terracotta, wood, and other substrates. For indoor and outdoor use, at operating temperatures not exceeding 50–55°C.

COMPOSITION

  • Component A: thixotropic epoxy resin with fillers and pigments

  • Component B: mixture of curing agents with adducts of cycloaliphatic amines, polyamides, tertiary amines, fillers, and pigments

FEATURES

  • Excellent adhesion

  • Medium-fast curing

  • Low moisture absorption

  • Resistant to weathering and acid rain

  • Virtually no shrinkage

  • Easy to sand to a glossy finish

WARNINGS

  • Curing speed increases with temperature

  • Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C

  • Does not adhere to silicone or polyethylene

AVAILABLE PACKAGING

  • Cartridge: 400 ml (A+B)

  • Available colors: white, ceramic gray, beige, black, and custom colors on request

MIXING RATIO

  • Component A : Component B = 100 : 100

  • In the cartridge, the dosage is automatic and preset

EXTRUSION – IMPORTANT

  • Discard the first 70–100 mm of product extruded from the static mixer to prevent improper mixing

  • Repeat this step when reusing the cartridge with a new mixer

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation

  • Thoroughly remove dust, loose material, and foreign substances

  • Adhesion improves if the substrate is slightly roughened

Mixing

  • Automatic during extrusion from the cartridge

Application

  • Apply directly using the static mixer

  • Or apply with a spatula/spreader

RECOMMENDED THICKNESS

  • From 0.2 to 1.0 mm for optimum performance

COVERAGE

  • 150–500 g/m² depending on the surface and applied thickness

CURING (at 23°C)

  • Working time: 15–25 minutes

  • Curing time: 80–110 minutes

  • Full cure: 1–2 days

  • Times refer to thicknesses of 2–3 mm

NOTES

  • Low shrinkage results in limited stress, helping to ensure a stable bond

  • Allows bonding of dissimilar materials, including in alternating layers

  • Prolonged exposure to UV rays may alter the surface color

  • Do not use for visible outdoor filling

STABILITY AND STORAGE

  • Store in a cool, dry place between 10°C and 30°C

  • Protect from direct sunlight

  • Guaranteed shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture

  • Temperatures above 35°C reduce stability

COMPATIBLE DISPENSER
